Oppidum

The Oppidum Project is the primary and main project of the Imperivm Romanvm: "A home for all Nova Romani, a place where all pagans can worship, live and share." The Imperivm Romanvm has many more project and goals but all of these are steps on the path to the ultimate goal (The Oppidum).

Etymology

The project gets its namesake after the Latin word for a walled city "Oppidum."

Names

The city in which the project will result has many potential names; the most widely liked potential name is Nova Roma (lit. New Rome) although this has raised concerns about potential conflicts with another organisation.
