The etymology of Syagrius ad by extension, Syagria is currently unknown and there are some theories on what it could be, the Celtic Personnel Name Database, Cambridge has proposed the theory of the name being composed of Su (Good) + Agr- (Slaughter) Most likely meaning it was a name relating to a warrior family early on.
